There isn't an app for everything, June 30, 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Personal Property Home Inventory & Insurance Claim Verifier (3.5" and 5.25" disks)
It amazes me how few people have a properly documented home inventory. The importance of one is equal to having home owner's insurance. However, going the app route might not be the best idea as computer applications don't provide the most important element that a professional home inventory service can provide: proof. During a claim, an insurance adjuster is going to want you to prove you owned the items listed in your inventory. If you have your inventory documented by a professional, you'll have a reputable business to vouch for you. Otherwise, all the adjuster see is a stack of photos with written descriptions. Check out my blog over at <...> for tons and tons of information on home inventories and the benefits they provide. Thanks!
