My assumption is that if you are wearing cuff links then you are dressed up and want to look really good. These cuff links look cheap.
The finish is inconsistent (the face of the cuff link is not smooth). The face of the cuff links also arrived with tiny scratches. The edges are crudely shaped. I'd say the edges are "rough" but not in the sense that they would catch or snag anything but rather in that they don't have a fine polished look like fine jewelry, more like cheap metal crudely and inconsistently molded. The actual engraving is okay except that it's off center. Also beware that it's very easy to smudge them up with fingerprints. If you are wearing a $100 off the rack suit, and these are the only cuff links you own, then perhaps these cuff links are appropriate, but if you are wearing a fine suit, don't ruin the look with this cheap junk. These are easily the worst looking cuff links in my entire collection.

I bought them for my boyfriend and they look very good. Delicate and shiny. He really liked them. They even came earlier than expected, witch was great, because i was in a rush.

I didn't see a place to put the initials, but a quick email to customer service fixed that problem. They even came in a few days! Very classy and looks like you spent a lot of money even though you didn't. They get an "A" for service, price, and quality.
