I bought this CD after hearing two of Ramsie's songs featured on the indie artist section of Margaret Becker's website.Ramsie Shick's "Personally There" (that's its true title) was a revelation.(I also recommend her "Sinner's Serenade" CD as well). I enjoyed this album for its honest exploration of pain, despair, and hope, all powerfully expressed in intelligent and forcefully written lyrics. If you love rock, and appreciate great writing, get this album. If you want passion and depth in music--look no further.

I love this CD! I let someone borrow my copy I had gotten from one of Ramsie's concerts in Dallas, TX and apparently they liked it too because I never got it back....

Ramsie's lyrics are full of the depth of real life, pain, doubt, and the passionate love of finally finding freedom that's real. She's vulnerable and genuine consistantly through her music, and that has given me glimpses of God that have impacted my life.
I have been a Ramsie fan since she first started years ago- and I recommend Personally there, her first Live CD at the Door, Sinner's Serenade, or her second Live CD-they all are amazing.

You listen.... you identify and it brings life!!
Not many musicians have that touch. I think David did... that is why Saul always asked for him. That's what this album is like!
