They are sharp yet smooth and give a very comfortable shave.
Paul J. Hoffer
I tried Derby, Wilkinson, Bic, Astra, and Personna lab blues and found the Personna to be the best of these razor blades.
The Drelb
I've used about 10 blades so far (3-5 shaves per blade) and they have been great.

My main motivation for buying these blades was the fact that they were made in the USA. However, after my first shave I will not be changing back to Sharks or even worse Derby's. These blades felt great on my skin and left me with a fantastic shave. The packaging is different from the 5 blade canisters you find in most, but the added room in my medicine cabinet is welcomed. If you are on the fence, jump in, the quality is there and the price is more than reasonable.

Haven`t seen the brand in many years. Recommended by my barber. Great to know a great product is still manufactured in the
U.S.A. Good price and timely delivery.

Double edged razor blades that fit every known double edged razor, Made In America, 25% sharper, 100 blades at $13.75 = $0.14 per blade...if you use one blade every four shaves that's a little over $0.03 per shave. I use mine in both a 1947 Gillette Super Speed, a 1967 Schick Krona and a brand new Merkur 33C...one of which will out last any new cartridge razor and two others that already have and still will:)
Great blades that give a smooth comfortable shave at a fantastic price made in America. Throw your 3/4/5 blade gimmick razor that costs more than it was ever worth along with those $1.65 - $3.50 each cartridge blades in the garbage and get a better shave cheaper with a tool that will last a life time if you take care of it.
Save money, support American labor, get a better shave.

Some use the term "aggressive" to describe DE blades - that is a misnomer.
Just like a knife, DE blades are sharp or not. The "aggressive" part comes
from the razor - how much blade is exposed and at what angle.
As far as I can tell, these are some of the sharper blades available -
almost as sharp as Feathers. I have tried at least 20 different blades,
and the Feathers and Super Iridiums were my previous favorites.
Sharp blades may not work for everyone, but they work great for me, in a
moderately aggressive razor, the Edwin Jagger DE87. Anyway, I was very
happy to find these blades, they are sharp and smooth, come in a convenient
dispenser pack, only have one wrapper around the blade, and do not use
any wax dots to secure the blade in the packaging. The wax dots are a
minor inconvenience, they gum up the inside of the razor, but it's a
bonus to not have them. These blades are a real bargain, and they can be
found for an even lower price if you know where to look!

Just recently joined the growing trend of Men reverting back to the Double Edge Razor. Received a pack of Merkur Blades with my Razor and also bought a pack of Feather Platinum Coated Blades. Tried both of these and found the Feather blades to be surgically sharp and a little too dangerous for me, almost pulled a Van Gogh. The Merkur blades were not as sharp but, I felt like I was taking extra strokes to accomplish the job. I thought about buying a sampler but I really felt 6 or 10 blades was too much to try and then really recall what I liked. So I saw where another Gent had bought these Personna blades and mentioned that they were Made In USA and are very reasonable. Tried it and it worked very well for me. Not too sharp and no extra strokes needed. I change blades every week not because I necessarily have to but, it just assures me of a nice shave. No more shaving with a dull $3 cartridge blade because it costs too much to toss.

These blades are everything I could have ever hoped them to be. I use these blades in my Merkur DE Safety Razor and in my Parker straight razor (snapped in half). I have medium facial hair and shave every day and I only change blades once a week. The dispenser box works well but gets crushed or drops blades if you pack it in a dopp kit so if you travel keep a few blades in a film canister or something similar.

Blades seem to get most of the credit or blame for the quality of a shave. Yet razors, soaps, pre-shaves, after-shaves--and, of course, your face, hair, technique, and procedure--all play their part as well. Still, the blade matters. It's just that all those other things are going to mean the same blade works (or doesn't) for different people.

That said, these Personna "Lab Blues" are a very good blade--for me. I find them sharper than Dorco, Derby, the Israeli Red Personnas, Merker, Astra, Crystal and even Wilkinson (by a whisker :-)). They are kinder to my face than all the aforementioned but Wilkinson, especially for the shaves on the second and third days(first day was a bit harsh, but less so than all others but the Wilkies).

For me, they most resemble the German-made Wilkinson and the Israeli "Crystal" (which is much less expensive and nearly as sharp and comfortable).

They are consistent (each blade's edge feels the same on my face) and durable (four shaves without sign of degradation). And their price is comparable to Wilkinson, if you are willing to buy in bulk.

If you have experience with any of the blades I mention, you may be able to judge how these will work on your face. I would say they tend toward the sharp end of the blade range, and their edge tends to be smoother than other blades. Because you have to buy these in bulk to get a good price, they are a bit less convenient than Wilkinson (which are available at Walmart) and not much less expensive, so I see no compelling reason for me to switch. But I like this blade very much. I would say they are very much worth trying (some shaving places (e.g. West Coast Shaving) sell 5-packs, so you can try them out if you would rather not risk 100).
