Decent book - needed more editing,

The content, examples and exercises in this book were very good. I particularly thought that they chose fun and interesting exercises to illustrate the points. But there were a lot of editing problems. I would have rated this at a 4 or possibly even a 5 if the editing had been tighter. Quite a few mistakes in the examples. This tends to frustrate both students and teachers. If you are willing to put up with the editing problems this is a good introductory book for students.

This book is a textbook for a Web Development class that I am taking. I love it because it explains Web page design in a more engaging and user-friendly format than the CIW series. It also provides more background information, which is helpful in building an understanding of the current markup languages.

If you are looking for a DHTML text to walk you through HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript this will due. It was an optional textbook for a course I took. There are many texts out there; consider trying the library. I have used the text, it is formatted to proceed in order chapter-by-chapter with activities, which makes this a good book for the self taught.

I bought this item as a school book for one of my college classes and have since recommended it to a friend of mine who does HTML publishing. It has been a great book to learn from.

I am taking a class in HTML and my school chose this book as the text for the class. I have no experience in HTML and so far the experience with this book has been great. I recommend this book to the new and experienced.

The book I needed for my college class, cheaper than I would have paid in the college book store.
