I used this book for a word processing class, and this is probably one of the better books on learning Word 2007.
What I really liked about it is that the tutorials are well-layed out. The quick review questions are also very helpful, and I would recommend doing those questions to help reinforce the main ideas. What I did not really like is that, like many of these types of books, is that for the Case Problems at the end of the tutorials, the authors include "Explore" steps throughout each case problem. While I understand it is meant to use critical thinking from what should have been taken from the tutorial, it can be very frustrating at times trying to figure it out. Overall, I would recommend this book for anyone who needs to learn Word 2007.

As one who started with WordPerfect, Microsoft Word has been a major pain to learn and use. I purchased this book to ease that pain. Still working on learning the various details of Word 2007 and the book helps tremendously. Does not mean I like Word any better.
