This book is an excellent source on the perspective of personality theories. It covers all aspects of personality in a manner that is easy to follow while still being thorough. I would suggest that any student that is studying personality theories using this book consider taking a course in abnormal psychology. The two courses together compliment each other.

I purchased this book for a class I was taking and found that I enjoyed it a lot. The subject of personality is a wide one, but I found this book to explain the subject well and it was easy to read, which is a plus with textbooks. It's a little large, size wise, but other than that, I think its a great book.

I purchased this text as a requirement for a distance education course I was taking. I was really excited about the topic, and looking forward to the course. Unfortunately, the text was terribly dull and dry, with hardly any examples. The authors made no attempt to bring the material alive with examples of the subject matter. It was excruciatingly slow to read, and at times I had to physically stand up to avoid being put to sleep while doing the required reading. I would not recommend this text.

The product was alright, but it's condition was slightly worst than expected: the cover was torn a little and the inside was full of highlighter marks.
On the other hand, I would buy this book again if I had a choice. It was overall in decent condition.

Can't really get too excited about this (because it was from a class a number of years ago) but Amazon did deliver a good quality copy for many $'s cheaper than the campus book store.

Services were awesome; I got my purchased product within two weeks of purchase and the product came in perfect shape as noted!

I've been looking for this book for a long time. It's the most comprehensive and engaging treatment of this topic that I've run across. Everyone should read it!
