About the Author

Muriel James is an internationally known conference speaker, workshop leader, and the author/coauthor of 19 books, including Born to Win: Transactional Analysis with Gestalt Experiments, which has been translated into 20 languages. A psychotherapist and consultant in private practice, she has also lectured at many universities in 26 countries as well as for numerous mental health organizations, professional associations, and international business corporations. Muriel is the past president of the International Transactional Analysis Association and is a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst in the clinical, educational, and organizational fields.
