After sending this CD as a gift to a FH player, I've received numerous thanks and rave reviews for the choice. One doesn't have to be a professional musician to appreciate the quality of this CD. The music is beautiful - creates a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for the home.

I can't say I already have a lot of French horn recordings, but it is the best one have so far.
Baumann is my college french horn teacher's favorite player in the world.
Although I am taking the American style french horn playing, I do love his tone and music.
This is the one you definitly want ot buy, it has 2-disc, which means is very worthy of the price.

Anyone who knows anything about French horn soloists knows of the greats...Dennis Brain, Berry Tuckwell, Hans Pizka, and of course, Hermann Baumann. If you are a fan of the French horn, this is a must.
