This review is from: Persephone and the Pomegranate Seeds Hb (Younger Fiction) (v. 4) (Hardcover)
While the two myths in here (Hades/Persephone and Atalanta) were written in a clear and simple way for young readers to understand, the illustrations were really sloppy. I've seen the artist's work before, so I am familiar with his style, but it feels like he really did an half-@$$ed job in here. The myths themselves are simplified like I said before, but for the most part accurate. The one thing that really bothered me was that the author wrote it so that when Hades kidnapped Persephone, he grabs her by her hair. That just didn't work for me (and a guy really should know better!) There's better mythology sources out there, so I can't really recommend this.
