5.0 out of 5 stars Bly's Public Speaking Book Impresses Veteran NSA Speaker, September 25, 2008
This review is from: Persuasive Presentations for Business (Paperback)
I have been in front of audiences for close to thirty years,
either as a stand-up comic or motivational speaker for corporations.
I thought I knew it all... that is, until I read Bly's book.
Concise with real techniques (that were even new to me) now any business speaker has a powerful guide to call on that will enable them to captivate any business meeting audience.

If you are in sales, want to dominate your market or exude expert status in your industry -- then this is a "must have" book for any serious business orator (me included.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Bly Strikes Again!, October 17, 2008
This review is from: Persuasive Presentations for Business (Paperback)
Bob Bly's books have a remarkable consistency: they are uniformly use-able. Bob organizes his work in such a way that anyone and everyone should be able to learn from them. These are "rubber meets road" books at their best.

Bob's book on Presentations is no exception. He walks you through what works, what doesn't work, and he uses great examples along the way.

I have several of Bob's books in my library and each of them is well-used, tabbed with post-its, and usually has a couple of 3x5 cards in them with notes.

Add this book to you library today. Read it, Use it. Prosper from it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must-have - for your next presentation, September 28, 2008
This review is from: Persuasive Presentations for Business (Paperback)
I've been involved with thousands of presentations - and found useful advice in this book...

Whether you're looking for tips on planning, writing or delivering your next presentation, Bob's action-oriented style delivers on it's core promise "Give Presentations That Pay-Off"

Throughout this easy-to-read book, you'll find specific examples of how to make your next presentation - your best!!! I was personally inspired by the guidance in "Seven Tips for Better Speeches", "Stories to Get Your Point Across" and "Engaging Your Audience"

Bottom line - I have not read a better book on this topic.
