Product Description
The flag of Peru was created by Jos?e San Mart?and adopted by the government of Peru in 1825. It is a vertical triband with red outer bands and a single white middle band. Depending on its use, it may be defaced with different emblems, and has different names. The flag used by citizens is the national or civil flag (Spanish: Bandera National).

Good cheap flag--cheaper than you can get in PERU,

Having a spouse who was raised in Lima, wanted to get a flag--for 28 de Julio etc. While in Lima, we found flags akin to this (maybe a bit better quality, but were talking for home use not for national monument decoration.) Somehow spending US$30 equivalent for this just didn't seem logical. So I went back to the hotel in Lima to confirm (yes, it is cheaper at amazon) and bought online when home.The irony is that I have done this before, including English shortbread when the exchange rate is insane. The globalization of the world of commerce means more than buying the best price--so caveat emptor to vendors, some of us aren't going to buy it there just because you sell it overpriced.

Exactly what I had imagined. More so I'm impressed that they were able to ship overseas to Qatar.
