4.0 out of 5 stars Rocky the Squirrel Is a Writer, Too?, November 8, 2009

This review is from: Perverse, Adverse and Rottenverse (Paperback)
We often think of voice actors as spending all their time at the microphone, giving life to our favorite cartoon characters. June Foray has been the voice of Rocky the Squirrel and Natasha in the Bullwinkle TV series, as well as Granny in Warner Brothers' Looney Toons cartoons about Tweety and Sylvester. But there's another side to her, too. Turns out she's got a terrific sense of humor and a gift for the written word, and has combined those talents in this hilarious volume that makes us think twice about the meaning of phrases we've used all our lives. After reading this book, those phrases don't have the same meaning anymore. It has short chapters, so I propose that every doctor's waiting room should keep this book out for their patients. It'll make them forget their physical woes as they laugh along with June.
