Spellbinding with beautiful language,

This is a detective novel, but the author uses such beautiful imagery, such as descriptions of snow in Paris in winter. This is in stark contrast to the graphic descriptions of the 20+ brutal murders of elderly women. The journey to find the killer keeps your interest throughout, and the ending is surprising but intelligently woven.
