My 9 year old and 6 year old boys love the game! They jumped right in and were able to figure out the first 6-7 levels pretty easily (I think there's 80 levels!), although they were definitely challenged in beating the levels. The aliens in the game are a lot like the TV show and of course the burping and farting games went over big. Lots of puzzles and action without the usual shoot 'em up in most games, so it's great for kids and challenging for adults. Two thumbs up!

I have to admit, the only reason I found this game, was because I enjoyed the 3-D graphics in 'Garfield Nightmares DS' so much. I decided to look up the company that designed the Garfield game to see what other games they had released. Out of all the other games they designed, Pet Alien had the best reviews, so I went for it and ordered. At first, I was thinking...'oh, no' what did I ordered. However, once I got going, I could not put the game down. It is so much fun. There are 5 aliens. All of them have their own special something. For instance, one is really quick/fast, another one moves around boxes to block stuff, another flies, the big one smashes stuff and the tiny one fits through small cracks, plus has a sticky tongue. There are 50 levels and most of them are short, but tricky. Don't worry, if you die you don't have to start 'way' over, you usually start close to where you die. I'm a 35 y/o mom and I could not put this game down, until I passed each level. Once I showed my daughter how to play, she picked it up really quick. She did get stuck on some tricky levels, but once I showed her how to pass, she got it down. There are 5 mini games, but you have to pass 10 games to earn 1 mini game. There are 5 levels of "10" which equals your 50 games. At the end of each section of 10, you will have battle some crazy, huge robot creature. These are a little trickier; you'll have to play a few times to figure out how to pass. Also, once you play all 50 games, there is a secret 'marathon' mode. This is more game (which you already played), but timed. This is a lot tougher, to pass, since you often get a short time lime. The games in non-marathon mode are not timed. This game is fun for all, especially kids 5-15.

My son got this game for Christmas and can't put it down! He received several games and this one is the stand-out favorite. Highly recommend!
