Heidi Boyd is a freelance artist, creative designer and photo stylist for several craft publishers, specializing in kids' crafts. She is a regular contributor to Better Homes & Gardens, Crayola Kids magazine and FamilyFun magazine. Heidi has been an art instructor for children in schools and art centers for many years. She is also the author of Fairy Crafts. Heidi lives in Des Moines, Iowa.

Heidi Boyd is the author of twelve craft books with North Light Books, most notably the Simply Beautiful series. She crafts at the dining room table where she can keep an eye on the family and dash out the door for the next carpool. Her goal is to make sophisticated design approachable for and easy for all. She has a fine art degree and got her start in professional crafting as a contributor to Better Homes and Gardens books and magazines. Heidi and her husband Jon and their three children actively enjoy the natural beauty of their midcoast Maine home.

This book is great!! it has very cute ideas. I have a dog and she loves the squeeky sock!! i also have 3 cats and they love the ceramic bowls. The pet beds are very practical for on the go people. You can just pull of the cover if it gets dirty and wash it.Also my cats love the springy snake you can just launch it across the room and watch them go after it. I highly recommend this book!!!

I just received this today and I love it! There are some really great ideas for crafts for the pet lover in everyone! I haven't done any of these yet, but I have some really great ideas to expand on the crafts in this book! The book is well written and the step by step directions are so easy that anyone will be able to do them...Get this book, you will be very pleased with it!
