I have several cats 16 years and older. Pet Guard Herbal Cat Collar worked well for me.I chose to use the herbal cat collar rather than a chemical for them. While not completely effective for a month, it killed most of the fleas. Depending on your situation (I have dogs who come in an out all day long), I was well satisfied with the Pet Guard Herbal Cat Collar for my older cats. It has a pleasing odor and they did not mind it.

Not only do they work, they smell SO good. Our cats don't seem to mind them at all, and they are much better than that liquid stuff you have to smear into their fur.
