I use this to give my cat (with very sharp teeth) pills. This is my second one ,as I gave the first one away to someone else who needed to give their cat pills. It has a soft flexible top that will not hurt the animals mouth. Just one quick "pop" and the pill is in and usually goes right down because you can get it down closer to the animals throat. If your pet is hard to give pills, I would recommend trying this.

Works better than some of the small pillers where the pills either don't fit or are hard to get them out.

This baby really has made my life a lot more pleasant. Just put the pill in the little tip, pull out the plunger, catch the cat, put the pet piller in the back of kitty's mouth, press the plunger, and you are done. The only issue I sometimes have is that smaller pills don't always stay in the little tip (will fall out if I don't hold it right). But that is pretty minor.

I have to give 2 cats their pills every day (for the rest of their lives), this really cuts down on the drama as I now only have to do it once because they can't spit them back up anymore. Very handy tool.

This item was a lifesaver. I had a CRF feline that had to take multiple meds. Anyone that has a cat knows how hard giving pills to cats can be. We would have never made it so long without this to help.

We thought this would be a great piller to get for our cats, since it had a nice slender stick.
WRONG!

The little rubber end does hold a pill fairly effectively. However, it relies on the stick
to push the pill into the cat's mouth effectively.
This only happens some of the time with this item.

It is hard for the human to hold both the cat and the piller, and nearly impossible to
push the plunger part. When we tried it with two people, it was a little better, but still
just an annoying design. There is not enough place for your hand to grip the plunger portion
(and I don't have big hands).

We found another model named after what comes out of a gun to be 300% more effective.

This one - I just can't recommend it. It is too awkward to use the plunger.

The pet piller is the easy way to give my cat her 2 pills a day.

Very good product - just what i wanted and arrived on time -- shipping costs were pretty high for the weight and price of the product -- otherwise, great!

My cat takes a pill every other day and another twice a day for 5 days a month. I could not survive without this product. I bought this one to replace another I had purchased 15 years ago!

I have a cat that gets a pill everyday! I have tried other brand pill guns, but have found them cheap, and not quite what I was looking for. Either they were too thick in the width, or they didn't "pop" the pill in like it should. This brand piller has lasted me 5 years, and I am now on my second one because the rubber has deteriorated. The mechanism doesn't stick, and it releases the pill perfectly. Also, because it's long and thin, I'm able to fit it into my cat's mouth, and do it all in a couple seconds, while saving my fingers.
