My cat, Shadow, is 19 years old and reaching the end of his life. He's on two medications a day and subcutaneous fluids three times a week. He loses his balance on occasion but still isn't in great pain. He has been the first face I see each morning and the last one I see at night. It's going to be heart wrenching when the inevitable takes place. I know this book will help me to face his inevitable loss with the beautiful prayers written just for animals. It is obvious that the authors love animals as much as I do.

As a owner of 2 elderly Cats, 1 middle aged Cat and 2 Puppies, this book was perfect reading and compassionate and funny views on our furry family members. I loved this book cover to cover and feels that everybody who has or ever had a pet would get so much out of it. I have read it several times and each time I enjoy it more. My eldest Cat is reaching the end of her journey and it was wonderful to read stories of others who have gone through the same situation. I wish Amazon allowed me to give it 10 stars.
