This is one of the best journals and books around for dealing with the loss of your furry friend. It takes the reader from the beginnings of having a pet and writing down why you made the decisions you made, to the winding down of your furry friend's life. There are areas for photos and and plenty of room to write down memories both pleasant and unpleasant. It also goes through the feelings of grief and the transitions a person makes through the grief. I have given this journal to many friends and all of them have loved it tremendously.

I think this is a beautiful journal to keep all of the memories of your precious animal that you miss so much. I like the little things like the first time you saw them and what happened the first time you brought them home.
There are pages for photos and other things you might like to keep, like fur etc. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the beautiful memories of their pet.

When my dog died, I was devastated. This journal gave me a place to put those feelings. It gave me a place to remember him. I didn't give it a 5 star, because I would have liked to see a bigger book with more questions and journal space. Otherwise, it was great. I apprecaite the author for writing it.

I have given this book to friends, family members and clients two weeks after they have lost their beloved pet. They have told me it was the best gift they could receive. I, too, have written many and it brings me to a good place after all of the sufffering that we go through when we lose our best friend. Don't pass this one up!

A very good friend sent this to me when I lost my dog, Cosmo to cancer when he was just 8 years old. I found it very helpful with my grieving, so I have since sent it to four other friends. It is now filled with many fond memories and pictures.

This book is the most helpful thing I've seen since the death of my beloved JoJo. While it is emotionally difficult to fill out, it really does help in dealing with his passing. It starts with the happy memories of the beginning of his life and then progresses to dealing with his death. The questions are straight forward and helps you remember all the wonderful things throughout the lifetime of your pet. I highly recommend this to anyone dealing with the passing of a pet.

I bought this book after losing my cat Cindy, who had been my best friend for 13 years. I was having a lot of trouble dealing with it and felt completely miserable. I wasn't sure if this journal would help, but the positive reviews here convinced me to give it a shot. I'm very glad I did. Working through the book and recounting all the happy times, as well as answering the hard questions, helped me so much. It's been almost two months and I'm feeling a lot better. I still miss my baby, but the memories are making me happy rather than sad. Once finished, it's a beautiful remembrance of the years spent with your pet. I would encourage anyone who has lost a pet to try this book. It would also be a wonderful gift for a friend who is experiencing the pain of pet loss.

I love this journal! Writing in this books really gave me a chance to sort out my feelings and keep a record of important moments. It was very important to me that I don't forget details about my cat and having my feelings in writing will help keep her in my heart forever. This journal asks you very important questions that you may not otherwise think to record. I would highly recommend purchasing this! It has really helped me to heal and keep my cat's memory alive!

My wife gave me this guided journal after the death of my dog. I had my dog for 12 years, I was only 21 when I got him, we grew up together. I appreciated that my wife understood how sad and depressed I was and wanted to support me and bought this journal to help me. Once I read through the journal I realized my grief was normal. As I wrote down my memories and feelings in the guided journal I could feel the sadness lifting and the happiness of remembering. I now treasure my collection of memories and photos in my pet remembrance journal. I think this is the most helpful tool to help a grieving person and highly recommend it.

I first encountered this journal when dealing with the sudden unexpected loss of one of my dogs. I used it in combination with attending group bereavement sessions at the local shelter. I have since purchased additional copies and given them to others who have had to deal with the loss of a pet. It guides one gently thru the healing process which in this society is too often poo-pooed with comments like, " it's just a dog, for crying out loud....get over it". It of course can be used however you wish - actually filling in each and every blank, choosing different pages to complete, just thinking about the topics, etc.
