5.0 out of 5 stars Magnetic Pet Shop, September 30, 2005

This review is from: Pet Shop Magnetic Playset (Toy)
I gave the Magnetic Pet Shop to a two year old. She was happy with it, but rather than use it as made, she put the magnetic pieces on the refrigerator. That was fine. She enjoyed it.

The item is as advertised. Well made and with enough pieces to provide a complete pet shop. As she gets older she will probably use it as intended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent learning tool!, September 16, 2004

I love this toy. I have 2 Farm and 2 Zoo scenes. I use them with my preschool students with hearing concerns. I use them to do Barrier Activities: the student tells me where he is putting a piece (working on the student's expressive language skills) and I tell them where I am putting a piece (working in the student's receptive language skills). The idea is for both of us to create identical scenes. We check to see how we are doing about every 6-8 pieces. The kids really enjoy the activity, and I quickly hear their descriptive language improve.
