This Product Really Worked!,
This review is from: PetAlive AmazaPet for healthy clear breathing in Pets (125 Tablets) (Health and Beauty)
I rescued a kitten off cold, busy streets. While he only weighed 3 pounds, the vet thought he was at least six months old. He had a severe upper respiratory (lung) and sinus infection which we treated with antibiotics. But he also wheezed and didn't sleep peacefully at night due to it. It was scary just listening to him!
I did some research to see if there was a natural remedy for feline asthma and found AmazaPet from PetAlive.com. Within a few days of using the product, he was breathing much better and sleeping soundly at night! I continued giving him the medication for awhile past the time his symptoms subsided and eventually stopped giving it to him as they never returned. My guess is his asthma was illness-induced. Asthma is in my family so I am very familiar with it. I believe this product helped to strengthen his lungs and help him breathe (and sleep better!) while his infections fully cleared (that took a good bit of time and two different antibiotics, several rounds). Once he was off the antibiotics completely, this product seemed to help him even more and for the first time I knew he slept peacefully through the night (he sleeps with me). I highly recommend trying this product for cats with asthma and/or asthmatic symptoms. It had no side effects and worked quickly--especially for a homeopathic remedy.

I got a kitten from my neighbor whose cat got pregnant before she was even a year old, and gave birth to just one TINY little kitten. The kitten was obviously not fully developed, as she probably didn't have enough room to even grow in her mother, who was just a baby herself. Anyway... this kitten grew up to be a healthy monster of a cat. While she is very physically capable, and absolutely the smartest cat I have ever seen or owned in my life, she has had some strange lung problems of late. She would start wheeze very loudly. She was usually sleeping when this happened, and it would wake her up, and she would just stand wherever she was laying, arch her back, and try to push air out of her lungs very very hard, presumably trying to clear the mucus and out of her lungs so that she could breathe easily. This started out as seeming like just a really nasty hairball, but soon progressed into something that happened at least once a week (and I do mean once a week at the VERY LEAST) One day she had an attack that was so serious and so horrible sounding (lasted well more than a minute, although to me it seemed like ages) that I was ready to take her to a vet hospital to see what exactly was happening to her. Being a stickler for homeopathic remedies as well as being generally mistrusting toward the prescription medicine industry as a whole, I decided to see if there was some kind of herb that I could give her that would help with this problem, which I am almost positive is feline asthma. For those of you who have not researched the whole issue too thoroughly already, medicinal remedies for feline asthma that your vet will prescribe involve inhaler steroids and pill form steroids as well, sometimes even shots of different steroid type medicines, all of which have potentially very bad side effects for your cat. While many cats will respond positively to the use of corticosteroid medication, they also run the risk of kidney disease, liver disease, pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus, behavioral changes, polyuria, cystitis, and inappropriate urination, stomach or intestinal ulcers, weight gain, altered mood and personality, cataracts, glaucoma, hypertension, osteoporosis, aseptic bone necrosis, increased susceptibility to infections (immunosuppression), peptic ulcer disease, tuberculosis and Cushing's syndrome, according to many professional experts who know a lot more about this than I do... Obviously, this was not a desirable solution to the problem for me, as I really love my cat, and would be more than a little sad if anything bad happened to her. I decided to find another solution before going to the vet and spending literally hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on this life-long treatment plan that would involve a lot of expensive inhaler devices designed specially for cats, and different prescription meds that would cause me to have to take my cat back to the vet to line their pockets on a consistent basis just so they could tell me the same thing every time, and prescribe me the same potentially life-threatening "cure" every time... I found AmazaPet Pet Alive pills, intended to improve bronchial pathways and overall lung health. I bought them, more out of desperation than anything, as I wasn't really wild about giving my cat a pill that had a bunch of stuff in it that didn't seem to be the most heavily tried-and-true product or anything like that (not to say that thought and time wasn't put into designing them and making them, as obviously they were pretty well thought out on top of being tested in an American laboratory that checked them them for quality and safety). I kept them around for about a week, wondering whether I should try them out on my cat (again, I really love my cat and would have felt horrible if the pills I gave her somehow worsened her condition or killed her). Finally my cat had the worst asthma attack yet, and it sounded like she was about to cough up one of her lungs. When the attack was over, she walked over next to me, sat down, and looked up at me, almost as if to say, "That really hurt." Well, that was the last straw for me. I got the bottle out, re-read the directions, and decided to start her with just one pill a day instead of the recommended 3-5 pills per day, just to see how she would react to it. I did this for a couple of weeks, every morning flipping her on her back, prying her teeth apart, and dropping a pill down her throat and making sure she swallowed it. Weeks passed without me ever seeing her have an asthma attack. Obviously, she could have had one, as I wasn't around to watch her every second, but the results were undeniably positive compared to her status without the pills being administered. I was extremely relieved, to say the least. Just today, minuted before I decided to write this review, she had another attack. This one lasted about 7 seconds, and she barely made any noise, and barely had to struggle to resume her normal breathing patterns. I was thrilled, amazed, awestruck, whatever you wish to call it; I was and still am very happy with the change in her behavior towards these attacks. Even with just one pill a day, her condition has drastically improved, and she seems to be much happier now, not to mention sleeping soundly all through the night (and most of the day; lazy cat...) To make a long story short, these pills are amazing. I would still recommend taking your cat to a vet just to make sure that any other conditions are ruled out, but this has worked astoundingly well for my cat, whom I suspect has underdeveloped lungs from being born of an incredibly tiny and young mother, who very quickly rejected her and refused to even feed her milk when she was a baby, forcing her owner at the time, my neighbor, to feed her store bought kitten food when she was barely a week old. Again, I only give her one pill a day, always in the morning right when I wake up, and that works perfectly fine for me (and my cat, of course). I suspect that if your cat needs to have the pill administered more than 3x a day, you may as well just cough up the cash for the vet visit, as these pills will get expensive very fast! It only comes with 125 pills, so if you have to give your cat between 3 and 5 pills a day, you will end up spending about 27 dollars (the cost of one bottle of 125 pills) every 25-41 days on these pills, and it might not even fix the problem if your cat (or dog) has very very serious asthma. It is certainly worth a try for a month or two in my opinion, though. Just make sure to monitor the animal as closely as possible during this time to make sure that he/she does not respond adversely to the effects of the pill. All animals are different, and what works wonders for one may not work at all for another; such is the reason that I think the prescription medicine industry is such a crock of ****, as a vet may prescribe the same medicine in the same dosage amount for all cats (or dogs, as the situation may have it), simply assuming that because it worked on a lot of different cats/dogs before, it will automatically work for your cat or dog as well. To anyone who read this in its entirety, thank you for your time and I hope that you find what you are looking for to help your animal live a long, happy, and healthy life with you. Take care.

My cat was diagnosed with asthma 3 yrs. ago and every once in a while has bouts of coughing spells. The last time it occured it became so severe that I decided to seek help. The Amazapet worked almost immediately and she went from a dozen coughing fits per day down to 3, then 2, then 1, and after 3 weeks is not coughing at all. I also was able to gradually cut down on the dosage as she improved. I may be able to save 1/2 of the product for the future. I am so happy to see my cat healthy again by using this homeopathic remedy. I recommend it highly!

My 12 yr old cat suddenly developed a nasty, congested sounding cough about 4 months ago. He's an inside-only cat and I know they can develop certain health conditions as they approach their teen years. After much research on the internet, I came to the conclusion that he has probably developed some sort of adult-onset asthma. I gave AmazaPet 4 stars because I did not initially see immediate improvement with my cat, but I continued to give the recommended dosage and after about 2 months, I saw a huge difference! My cat now RARELY has an attack. He went from having 3-5 a day to only about once a month. I have decreased his dosage to one a day and that seems to be working wonderfully. I feel good about giving him a natural product instead of harsh steroids and antibiotics from the vet. The pills are really tiny and fit perfectly in those soft flavored pill pockets you can get from any pet store. My cat gobbles them right up! I am so grateful for AmazaPet and the incredible difference it has made in my cat and I will continue to purchase this product. I highly recommend it and advise that you stick with it if at first you don't see results, you will not be disappointed!

I ordered this product because my little dog, Buddy (an 8 year old cockapoo) has developed what the vet has called "allergies" Nothing our vet has given him has given Buddy any relief so far (herbal and prescriptions). Buddy does this wheezing thing that makes it seem like he is having an asthma attack (I have heard it called reverse sneezing too...) and he also shoots the most gigantic disgusting snots out of his nose when he sneezes (my poor baby!) It's been pretty gross all winter long. The PetAlive AmazaPet product appears to be helping him breathe more clearly, and I have noticed that he has had WAY less issues with the sneezing and snots - but the wheezing is still happening, especially when he gets excited. But he is breathing out of his nose more often than he was before I gave him the product. I think it relieves the symptoms, but I don't think it is really doing much for the overall condition.
