5.0 out of 5 stars works like a charm!, June 7, 2011

Having multiple animals and chickens it was prohibitively expensive to keep them all wormed. This has done the trick - not only no more worms looking at me in the litter boxes but everyone is much healthier! Pays for itself!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, May 12, 2007

For my first dog, I've read lots on herbal vs. synthetic medication and the benefits of going "natural". When I found tapeworms in her stool, I immediately researched and decided on this product. Tapeworms were still showing up even after the last dosage (I used all 60 pills for 2 1/2 weeks). Disappointed, I contacted my dog's holistic veterinarian and she prescribed Droncit - another $35. While it is synthetic, she informed me she has tried every herbal remedy on the market without success. They gave her the Droncit tablets all at once right then and there and within 72 hours I no longer saw tapeworms in her stool.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worked as Cure for Heartworm, August 9, 2010
This review is from: PetAlive Parasite Dr. for Pet Internal Parasites (60 Caps) (Health and Beauty)
We rescued our female Lab from a disreputable breeder. We traveled 150 miles to buy a breeding-age female. What we found when we got there was a crated, miserable girl with fur like straw, long nails, and as we discovered the very next day when we took her to the vet, a serious case of heartworm. We bought and paid for her, just to get her away from her previous owner.

I used Parasite Dr. on her faithfully for a couple of months. Took her in for another test. Still positive. I kept treating her with it. I'm not sure how many months or how many bottles I ended up using. It was perhaps 4-5 months worth. After that time, she was going into heat, so I brought her in to be tested again. She tested NEGATIVE, and the vet re-tested to be certain. The vet was impressed with the results, and so were we. He gave a go-ahead to breed her. We got four litters from our girl before we retired her from breeding. She has a permanent place on a mat at the foot of our bed, and remains in perfect health.

I haven't tried Pet Dr. for other parasites, but I can testify that if you are patient, and don't expect overnight results, even a serious case of heartworm can be overcome.
