The product shipped has a U shaped bottom of the door, not squared off as in the pictures. It is a bit hard to see, but there is a crossbar directly below it. While this appears harmless, my dog was able to fit its head in there and choked to death. DO NOT BUY THIS KENNEL!

I have two small Labradors, and in less than three hours they had torn a basketball-sized hole through the chainlink right in the middle of the kennel. The fence itself is cheap, flimsy and loosily woven; it flexes way more than it should and I had my doubts about it being secure before I started construction. I repaired the hole in the chainlink by reweaving the wire and reinforcing it with the bendable metal fastners that come with the build but it was only another hour or so of them left alone before they had yet another hole torn. This isnt't from bending up from the bottom or pealing a piece back thats unsecure; this is the middle of the fence and the metal is being unwoven and stretched. All in all, I've mad four repairs, and there's been 5 holes ann in different locations. The last one is the deal breaker, the kennel is ruined, and it never not even once provided more than a few hours of an enclosure for my dogs. I would not recommend this product to anyone; it's expensive, low quality and unreliable. Maybe if you have little toy dogs with half-a-brain that wouldn't dare to put force on the fence, then you *might* be alright so long as they never test their boundries, but Labradors want out and this will not keep them from achieving that. Do not buy this sorry excuse for a kennel.

The final dimensions of this product after being put together is 6.5 feet by 10 feet long. Not 12 feet long as advertised...so it was much smaller than anticipated.

Chain link had a lot of excess

Roof and Kennel: My 6'1 hubby put this together by himself but I don't think I could have.

Roof: I would buy this again for convenience but only because I own a pipe cutter.
The main bar was about a foot too long.

Kennel: The chain link had way too much and had to be trimmed.

Still better then a trip to Home Depo to start from scratch.
Not for someone who is not at all handy.
The chain link attaches to the frame via metal rods which get put on like ubber tough twisties, even hubby's hands were very sore after.

The project took about 12 hours for the kennel and roof. I paid a total of 350 for both with free shipping.

It turned out great and I am happy with the end result.

I recommend for those prepared to put some elbow grease into the assembly.
I give a 3 because ease of assembly was misrepresented and having to cut pipes and trim the fencing is asking a lot.

I work with dogs and have a kennel of my own. This pen won't last. Specially if you try to move it. I had dogs breaking away from it to the point that i had to throw it away.

It was easy to put together and my dog loves it she is a big dog and it keeps her in so she can be outside i love this product.

It's a kennel. Four chain-link walls and a little door. Certainly strong enough to contain my dachshund - at least as long as we keep it on concrete; if we put it on anything unpaved he'd have himself dug out by lunchtime.

The Good Stuff: The instructions depict the door on one of the short sides of the structure. It was surprisingly easy to move it to one of the long sides. Assembly is reasonably uncomplicated, but it helps if you've had some chain-link experience prior to attempting it.

The Bad Stuff: REALLY cheap chain link - as I said before, strong enough for a mini dachshund, but I'd be concerned if I had a real manly-man type of dog. The corners of the door are rounded off, which leaves *just* a big enough gap that a small dog like ours could squeeze out if he tried hard enough, so we have to put concrete blocks in front of each of the two lower corners of the door. Also, you'll need at least two people, preferably three, to put it up. Trust me on this.

The best thing of all about this kennel was that it cost virtually nothing to ship. I was originally planning to buy it from Home Depot, which sells the same product ten dollars cheaper - but they wanted $180 to ship it. Yes, that's right - one hundred eighty dollars, more than two thirds the cost of the kennel itself. I paid about ten dollars more for the kennel here on Amazon, and they shipped it to me for something like $4.99. Such a deal.

Instructions were easy to follow. Most of the assembly was done by just me (41yr old woman). My dog forced her way out, so I took the extra chain links apart and used them to run up and over the lower bar and through each of the lowest points on the chain link and its extremely secure. The only way I'd rate it even higher would be if the price were lower. All in all, best price I could find out there. We have the cover and anchors too, but I have not assembled them yet. The kennel is holding up fine without the anchors.

When I ordered this dog kennel I assumed that the panels came already put together and it would arrive in a large box. When I saw the size of the box it came in, I knew we were in trouble. The fabric (chain link) is all rolled up and you have to assemble the frame and then untangle and stretch out the fabric around the entire kennel. It took 3 adults to set it up and some patience and frustration, but once it was put together it was great. The height and size is good and has worked well for us.

i used this kennel daily for my two large breed dogs and they had plenty of room to move about and lay down. it has a sturdy construction once assembled and withstood the rain and wind very well. my husband and father had this put together in less than an hour and i added a tarp over the top to act as a shade which worked very well and was much less expensive than those covers you can buy. overall very pleased with this product.
