4.0 out of 5 stars Get 3 tunnel sections if you're putting a cat door into a wall with exterior siding
Great for extending the space between the interior and exterior parts of a cat door. Though I was told 2 sections would work, you'll actually need 3 if you're going through drywall, studs, osb and vinyl siding. If you cut out the siding you could get away with two. I don't want the edging around the door though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pet Tunnel
This pet tunnel is easy to install. I choose this one because it is possible to order additional extensions. I needed multiple extensions for both tunnels. The extensions and shipping cost as much as the door itself. Extensions are not that easy to find.

1.0 out of 5 stars The extension is way too short for a wall mounting, May 19, 2011
This review is from: PetSafe Staywell Tunnel Extension for PetSafe 300, 400, 500 Series Pet-Entry Doors, White (Misc.)
If ever I can find another extension for the great sure flap, I would return this one.
1. It is way too short for a outer wall mount. I have to order a second one, that add up to almost $20 just for extension.
2. The plastic is much thiner than the sure flap tube. I'm sure a raccoon can easily break it. I need to cut some extra supports to avoid that.
3. If you want to use this extension with the sure flap mounting adaptor that also sold in amazon, they don't fit. It leaves about 1/4 inch on the side.

I had ordered three of these extensions as I was putting a cat door through an exterior wall. These worked very well and matched nicely with the Petsafe series 400 pet entry door that I purchased for my cat.
