Pete the Peacock is a curious farm peacock who flies off to the nearby town with funny and loud results. When he begins to disrupt the local church, it is up to his farmer and his peacock wife to save the day. This is a wonderful book for young children with an easy-to-read style and lovely graphics. It is perfect for young children. Pete the Peacock does not overload kids with complex messages. It just gives an entertaining story of exploration and coming home. I loved this book not just because it is such a charming story. Having grown up on a farm with peacocks, it brought back the warmest memories while I was reading it to my younger children. About the Author
In addition to being a graphics artist and an editor, Terri Branson is an award- winning author who has sold feature articles on the craft of writing. Her SFF collection COSMIC SCULPTURE won the EPPIE 2004 trophy award for Best Anthology and her children's picture book BROTHER DRAGON (also illustrated by Chet Taylor) won the EPPIE 2005 trophy award for Best Children's Book.

Terri Branson is an author, editor, and graphics artist. After earning an associate degree in math and science, she turned to the study of creative writing. She has sold magazine articles on the craft of writing and held workshops for local writers groups. Genre fiction titles include: Cosmic Sculpture (SF/Fantasy - EPPIE 2004 Best Anthology), Dragon's Den (SF), Musk Rain (Paranormal Romance), and Prairie Fire (Paranormal Romance).
