I recently traveled across country, Phoenix (AZ) to DC with my three cats and the thought of stuffing them in their separate kennels for journey, even with nightly stops, was not appealing. A family member spotted the Pet Tube in a magazine and I was sold. I did buy the accompanying comfort pillows, which are a fit perfect in the Pet Tube and easy to clean in the event of messes (I had food and water and small litter pan in the large Pet Tube plus three cats!). I did even up rotating on cat up by me for breaks in a carrier to give everyone a bit more room to breathe, but the Pet Tube made a night a day difference with three cats that normally loss their minds just on the way to the vet!

I have a 2-door compact car but a 48 lb border collie so it's been really difficult to find a crate that's big enough to fit my dog but small enough to fit in my car. The Pet Tube fits perfectly in my back seat. My dog used to bark at various moving objects outside the car (bikes, buses, people, etc.) but with the Pet Tube, his view is obscured enough that he doesn't have to be worried about what's happening outside and can just relax. I'm so glad that I found it.

The best pet carrier available.,
I bought this carrier (the large one) for my two cats when moving across country. I made the trip in 2 days, 11-12 hours driving each day, instead of the planned 4 day drive. They never complained. I stopped frequently the first day to let them take breaks, but they didn't seem to mind sitting in it and sleeping the whole way, so I just kept driving until I was tired. The second day they slept so much I pulled over a couple times just to make sure they were still okay. They were just chillin'. They play in it and go in happily when I have it out in the house. I had it out in the living room for a couple weeks before moving, and they think it is their play house. We use it frequently for trips to see family 4-5 hours away, and they don't seem to mind the car trip at all. It is hard to see in from the outside, but if you climb in you find they can see out just fine. It collapses very flat and takes up almost no storage room, but sets up as quickly as unzipping a zipper. For a large vehicle, there are adjustable straps to secure it. In my compact car, it filled the whole back seat. Traveling with pets has never been so easy, and I feel happy that they are safe. There is no better pet carrier for traveling in a car.
