However, it is close to it. I bought the game for my boyfriend who spends mass money on the arcade version at the bar with his friends. Therefore, for us it saves some money on occasion because they can play it here at the house and it does not cost 4.50 per player per game and the beer is a lot cheaper as well. Therefore, for us it has been worth it.

THIS IS WONDERFUL GOLF GAME. ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER PLAYED. IT IS NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS THE ARCADE VERSION BUT IT IS PREETY CLOSE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO LIKES VIDEO GOLF

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST GOLF GAMES I HAVE EVER PLAYED. IT IS NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS THE ARCADE VERSION, BUT IT IS CLOSE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO LIKE GOLF. IT IS VERY EASY TO LEARN THE CONTROLS AND THE COURSES ARE CHALENGING BUT NOT SO HARD YOU CAN'T WIN.

I am not very happy with this product. I really enjoy the arcade version, but ---- the Playstation version has the same sounds and look but the game play is just not the same. Putting is far too easy and the power for your swing is limited. You don't have the control too blast over the water like the arcade version. I would suggest the older Tiger Woods golf rather than this one or just save your money.

This game appears very similar to the arcade version but of course the controls are very different. It takes a lot of practice to figure out exactly how to get good accuracy and power. Although this game is more difficult to master, I still have a good time playing it. I think it's deffinately worth buying. If you are a fan of Golden Tee Golf, you should give this game a try.

Since I never played the arcade version, I have no means for comparison. However this game is fun to play. I must say that the putting is way too easy... (When you can continually sink 43-65 ft shots on the green, there is something wrong). Overall, the controls are fairly easy to learn and the graphics are good. I'd recommend this game to someone who wants to play fun courses and always likes shooting -9 in 18 holes of play. If this isn't you, there are better more/challenging games out there. I'd suggest renting those before investing in this game.
