From the Manufacturer
In 1838, Peter Kaiser founded Europe's oldest existing shoe manufacturer in the Rhineland Palatinate town of Pirmasens. Only five years later, the entrepreneur was exporting shoes within Europe and further afield. In so doing, he laid the foundation for one of the first industrial shoe manufacturing businesses of international significance. This success, today as in the past, is due to an ideal match between innovative ideas and perfect craftsmanship, and ensures that Peter Kaiser shoes are enjoyed the world over.
