Peter Nero's Greatest Hits now digitally mastered on CD is as great as the LP ever was! Familiar but still thrilling overtures from our past. Nobody gets the rhythm or titilating piano any better than Peter Nero!

Peter Nero played the piano with great taste. This album is good but is way too short with only ten selections. Still, so little of his work is available on cd that this will have to do for now.

Wonderful music. This CD contains Peter's best known pop favorites of the late 1960s and early 1970s. His most successful single, "Theme from The Summer Of '42" is here. Just beautiful!! His great version of "Love Story" is also in this collection. My favorite is the "Theme from The Godfather"--very moody and full of music. Wish this had "Brian's Song"--Nero's other best selling single. Worthwhile purchase.

Peter Nero plays some of the most beautiful ballads that have ever been written. These old standards will come alive with the background orchestra and his wonderful phrasing.
The rendition of "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" brings in soft violins or violas which add a richness to this exquisite tune.

This album has many peaks . Nero plays mixing rhytm and lyricism ; feeling and nuance ; elegance and personality . Recommendable for those special moments with your beloved couple , or perhaps you want to be alone or just working .
