Captivating, Raw and a Bittersweet ending!,

I have just finished this (the original) version of "Peter Pan" and absolutely loved every moment of it. Though being a hopeless romantic as I am, a piece of me wished for Peter and Wendy to stay together. I guess that would have ruined the point Barrie is trying to make "where everyone must grow up". The original book is with out a doubt the best of any version of the story though the movies touch on different parts of this book they do not fully capture all that this story brings. I believe that the most recent live action Peter Pan has come the closest yet now I wish they would remake it once more straight from the book. I believe that it would be amazing to see the original emotions and adventures come to life. I cannot say enough great things about it. definitely recommended and especially before any of the movies, especially the Disney version.
