This is a beautiful book! It has the most complete illustrations, both color and black & white, of any Beatrix Potter book I've seen. Its large size and low price would make it a wonderful gift for Beatrix Potter fans of any age.

I bought this book for my best friend who is expecting her first child. I wanted something Beatrix Potter because I grew up to these wonderful stories and I wanted it to be part of her childs life and memories. I am so glad I chose to get this particular book! The illustrations are beautiful and filled with color. It is a wonderful book filled with all of the popular Beatrix Potter stories that I remember! I recommend this book to anyone who loves Beatrix Potter stories....this is the one!

This is a great book! The illustrations are georgous. The large size of the book adds to the facination of kids and adults. It is great for gift giving too!

This book was a gift for our first born. Now that he's 4 and our youngest is 2.5, it's still a favorite. The stories are the perfect length for getting them to settle in at night. The plots aren't so complicated that they don't understand what's happening in the story, either. I enjoy reading them the stories, which is always a plus! The pictures are great, but what else would you expect from Beatrix Potter? We love this book!

This book was much larger than I expected but was beautiful. It included many favorite stories and the size allows for large illustrations. I gave it as a gift and I am sure it will be a hit.

This anthology is well printed and well bound--in short, gorgeous. The only downside is you lose the "pocket-size"--i.e. kid-size--dimensions Beatrix Potter insisted on. The tales are even re-paginated so several pages of the original format are combined onto one larger page. This even affects the age-appropriateness of the book: for my 9-mo-old, any book with more than a couple of sentences per page is too much talking and not enough page-turning. That said, this is a great cost-effective way to get 14 books in one (and keep them all together). If, like me, you've never gone far beyond Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck, this takes you well into the less-traveled corners of Miss Potter's world like Samuel Whiskers or Johnny Town-Mouse.

This book has really nice pictures, all the original ones made from the author. It has the most populat stories inside. It is a little bigger than expected, but this and the hardcover will make it last forever!

I was a little disappointed when I received this book. On the one hand, it's good to have the story in large print. On the other hand, however, the once-cute pictures look not so cute in large size. For example, the fox even looks a little scary in the large size.

Friends give this gorgeous book to all the "littlies" on your birthday and Christmas list. I KNOW I WILL.........that's why it stays permanently on my "wish list".Do you little friends a favour. Buy then one of these. Maeve

If your little one loves Peter Rabbit - or if YOU love him! - this is the perfect book for you! Big and colorful, the book is also heavy - your child won't be looking at it without your being there to hold it for him...but you will both enjoy the experience.
