This is one book of a series and my daughter recommends it to all her friends. I looked for it in all the local book stores. I should have saved me the trouble and looked on amazon. I've never been disappointed.

This review is from: Peter and the Sword of Mercy (Starcatchers) (Paperback)
This fourth volume in the Starcatcher Series contains the vivid immaginations of its combined authors, Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry. I was fortunate to see both men on the same stage together, talking about their collaboration on this Series. It's no wonder they write so well for children: they were like a couple of kids, with humor sparking between them. They spoke of the initial challenges of collaboration. But they agreed that eventually their story-drafts seemed to take on an identity of their own, as if written by a third man who wrote better than either of them did. The Series is an extension of the Peter Pan story. You have to read the books yourself to fully understand how these two men created a whole new world in a sense. Although written for children, the books can be enjoyed by any age.
