Excellent exercises for those with little space and less time, September 28, 2009

First, know that the used prices listed for this DVD are waaaaay out of line. As of this writing, the used sellers are asking $222 and up! It is available new from other sources for only $19.95. Just put the name in a search engine. Now, for the review: I have found this to be a great exercise routine. The exercises are not only low impact but also low-key and low-tech. No hype, just good stretches designed to keep the body limber, stimulate the lymph system, breath in energy, and let out stress. You do not need a lot of space for the exercises--just room enough to swing your arms laterally and spread your feet apart. The full routine only takes 15 minutes, but for those who've delayed exercising because they can't even take 15 minutes in the morning, Mr. Van Daam has also put in a 9 minute version. (There's a longer instructional segment which is should be viewed first to understand the how's and why's of the various moves.) The exercises on this DVD are not yoga per se, but will seem familiar to anyone who has done yoga, especially with the emphasis on process--the idea is to do what you can without overreaching, and gradually improve. I highly recommend it.

Very Pleased with this Product, March 9, 2009

Once I got past the intro and into the guidelines, I was surprised how informative the presentation was. The presenter has an easy style and is able to talk all the way through the exercises which helps keeps the momentum going, hence the exercises were easy to follow and were not too taxing. Suitable for all ages, as the front cover says. I recommend this for general health and wellbeing. I hope to use this as part of my preparation for meditation and energy work. *This is not one of those highly polished yoga videos shot in the gym with participants who have toned bodies.*

Extremely efficient. Best exercise routine for people with no time, no space and no room. And it's a great supplement to any exercise situation. I do it in 12-14 minutes. I've been doing this series since 2006. 16 exercises. Specific sequence. Aerobic and yogic. It's my primary routine that I do almost daily. Great for periods when I can't get to the gym. Use it in addition to whatever other routines I may be doing. Need the video to get the sequence and technique down, and a print out as a follow-up reminder for awhile. Any age or condition can start it. Works for top athletes and old ladies. The video includes a woman in her 70s in a wheel chair who gradually worked out of the chair.
