We have tried other brands of timothy hay for our first guinea pig and he would eat them all, but when we first offered him this brand he went nuts for it. He still loves it and we just got a second piggy that seems to prefer this over what was sent home with him. The quality is great. Not much dust in the bag from this hay either. Some of the other brands leave a tremendous amount of dust at the bottom of the bag.

This hay is passable at best. It does not compare to OXBOW hay, however. But I had to buy this as an emergency and I have Prime.

The price is about the same as Oxbow as well, but the quality is subpar. The hay is nice and green but it's cut really short so it just falls onto the litter like a pile of litter itself. It does come in a nice resealable package though. Oxbow hay is far superior in that it smells so fresh and the hay is fluffy and LONG.

If you can get oxbow hay then do so! Although shipping usually makes it more expensive. But if not, I guess this will do.

Think of hte guinea pigs!

Our bunny does like this hay, but what I really like most is the price and the fact that Amazon offers it with Prime, so the shipping is free. That is a great deal and saves me having to run out to the pet supply store when the bunn is running low--we live a good way from the nearest one, and they aren't any cheaper. We've found it all to be consumable and we put it in a sort of bowl to catch any small pieces that might just fall through a rack. Works well.

the items was timothy hay, it was old dry turned to dust my poor rabbit hasnt even been able to eat even a 1/3 of it i find it was a waste of money and i would'nt buy from them again. i feel money should be refunded!

My bunny loves this hay and does eat it all day long as advised by vets. Keeps his digestive system working well and he does not seem to loose an appetite for fresh food.

I USED THIS HAY FOR FOOD AND BEDDING. MY PIGGIE SEEMS TO LIKE IT. SMELLS FRESH, DOESN'T SEEM DUSTY AND DIDN'T COME IN ONE BIG KNOTTED UP WAD IN THE BAG LIKE SOME OF THE OTHERS I'VE TRIED.

I bought this for my 8 week mini rex. He hates them. Its like puke to him. he won't budge.
.Though the other products he loves. he'll eat all I give him. But when I gave him this...Nope. He only uses it as a bedding.

I will never buy this again.

I bought this hay because my bunny was running low on hay, so I went to Petland and got the same product. He absolutely LOVES this hay, he munches this hay all day long, the only thing about it is, is that it's cut short, but otherwise.. DO get this hay. Oxbow is obviously good, but for the moment, this hay is good.

My bunnies Babbit & Tigger love this timothy hay. It's not as stiff and long as some other brands of timothy hay I've purchased at pet stores and dept stores where I live. It is fresher and cut smaller and my bunnies are crazy about it. I have noticed that since I have been feeding my bunnies Peter's timothy hay they have stopped sheding, and they have more energy.
