5.0 out of 5 stars A great visual aid to Lovecraft's creations, December 30, 2008
This review is from: Petersen's Field Guide to Cthulhu Monsters: A Field Observer's Handbook of Preternatural Entities (Call of Cthulhu) (Paperback)
This is a rare item these days, so if you're a big Lovecraft fan and you can get your hands on it then do it! I had this book when I was a kid and it was my first introduction to the world of H.P. Lovecraft. The artist representations of Howard's monsters are truly amazing, and ones only a truly sick imagination could conjure up. For me this book will always be a classic, as well as an ideal addition to any Lovecraft fanatic's library. Check it out if you get the chance... if you like fantasy art you might find this rather intriguing.

This review is from: Petersen's Field Guide to Cthulhu Monsters: A Field Observer's Handbook of Preternatural Entities (Call of Cthulhu) (Paperback)
A slim paperback with 64 pages, reminds me a tad of Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials, it is something you may wish in your library be you a fan of Lovecraft or enjoy playing the Call of Cthulhu Role Playing Game. Love the artwork and the background information. Always love to see what people think Elder Things and Deep Ones look like. Enjoy!
