Hardbound. Good history of Peterson Tractor of California and relationship to Caterpillar and early through current uses of Caterpillar equipment. Peterson was a name frequently mentioned in Caterpillar innovations and specials from the 30's through the 70's. Peterson was one of the more influential Caterpillar dealers with connections to LeTourneau and others from the 30's and before. Peterson is still headquartered in San Leandro, Ca with California, Oregon, and international customers. Dealership has remained in family for 3 generations. History in the book is up to 1998. As of this writing, book was still available directly from Parts Dept at Peterson Tractor for list price of $49 or there abouts.
