This is such a cute book that I was delighted to find it available in French. I have read some reviews saying that French editions of popular children's books are not always the same-- either the colors are off or the text suffers in translation. Not so with this French edition. It is a nice, big size, the colored pictures are the same great pictures as in the English edition, and the story remains charming. And my son, who just turned three, still likes it. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to have some children's books in French.

I bought this book for my daughter, I speak French to her(my second language), and until she can express her preferences I love this book. I read it to her every night, it's an easy easy read, short and sweet and introduces simple concepts: there is a big red strawberry, a little mouse; phrases are short and not to many repetitions that make story telling get boring after a few reads. The illustrations are beautiful. I would definitely recommend.

This is a great book. Very nice story and beautiful pictures. Recommended for all french speaking parents and for all ages.
