Interesting cortex skewerings., August 18, 1999

Chang is focused and tactile. She is inside the composer's motor cortex. I must say however that the Messiaen compositions remind me of the random shards my mom (she had no formal training) could flail out of the little Steinway console after having nipped away half the cooking Sherry. What was she thinking? I'll never know.
