I have been a christian for over 20 years. Prayer stands in a class by itself. I have read many books on why it is important, things that have been accomplished, lives transformed and many other glowing reports. The problem normally occurs in taking the time, with a right heart and then doing an activity that yields real results. From an ever present and fresh point of view, this book is a quick read, life changing, extremely practical and will be valuable to anyone who is a believer in Jesus Christ and is willing to apply the principles.

This is a nuts and bolts template of what is required, how to do it and why. It's application is only limited to what we are willing to invest.

Effective prayer has similarities in becoming a parent. Observing parenthood from the outside and becoming one are worlds apart. Furthermore there is a large potential difference in being a parent and performing the various functions well. No matter how long we work at it, there is always an opportunity for improvement.
