My "Lucy" loved this bed. Since she refused to use a litter box, she became an outdoor cat. She had been indoor/outdoor and was not declawed. At night and cold days I could always find her in this bed, which we kept plugged in in the garage. She was a small cat and this bed was just right for her but I would not recommend for a large cat... must revise... Lucy is no longer with me (was 19 yrs old) and I now have a very chubby shelter cat that fits pretty well in this bed... but I would still not describe him as a very large cat. The bed is surprisingly small when you look at it and please don't be put off when the pad does not feel "warm" to the touch (as I have seen in many negative reviews). This is not a heating pad and would burn the cat if it was. Animals do not need "extra" heat like we do to stay warm, they just just need a surface that will not steal away their own body heat. This is a super product.

We had one of these for our cat who sometimes insists on going outside on cold nights. It never felt warm to my touch; the warmest it got was "not cold," which is better than cold. It lasted a couple of years. Looking for a replacement now but won't replace it with another like this.

Purrfect!
I bought this for an older cat that always seemed to need more warmth. She took to it right away and now spends the better part of her days curled up, happy and warm.

Heated pet bed, great for garage pet.
This was bought for a cat that came with the house I bought. Since the cat can't come into the house because of allergies, I keep her in the garage at night. Read more
