It's an OK product. The cover is more sturdy than most, but it's not your typical "foam" mattress. It sags alot in the middle. Over time the foam has compressed and hasn't held it's shape. Other than that, it still does the job. Our dog took a while to warm up to it, but that's probably normal. Overall, I would probably buy it again... I just wished it didn't sag so much in the middle.

My dog loves this bed and it really is just what I was looking for. Also, the brown damask cover makes it an attractive dog bed. However...we've had this bed for a little less than 2 weeks, and the plush side has already developed a hole. Since our medium-sized, Shepherd-mix dog only uses this pillow at night in our bedroom, and she's not rough with it (she actually scratches around on it less than most dogs would), I expected this pricey pillow to hold up a LOT better. In fact, we bought it to replace a cheap pillow she'd had for 5+ years, and the cover on the old pillow is still in fine shape.

My dog, a 6-year-old, 65-pound, female Rhodesian Ridgeback/Golden Lab mix, wouldn't sleep on this bed. If we told her to get on it, she would, but then she got off as soon as we let her. Apparently she found it too stiff or uncomfortable. Or maybe she's just fussy -- likes to sleep curled up in a soft bed that forms a nest around her, which this bed does not. Indeed, the "fingers" of foam that poke up on both sides seemed as though they wouldn't be very comfortable through the bed's thin cover. We sent it back and bought a cheaper bed at Target, which she seems to like as much as her old bed.

Very Nice Pet Bed!
I got this Orthopedic Pet Bed for my 10 year old min pin. She suffers from arthritis of the knees & was having trouble getting out of her crate where she usually slept. Read more
