I bought this bowl for my cat. Initially I was very nervous as I had read a couple of other reviews saying that it was too big for cats, but honestly there aren't a lot of choices on Amazon for this style of pet bowl, so I picked it up anyway.

I got it in the mail yesterday and all my worries were put to rest. Unless you have a teeny, tiny cat, this bowl is just the right size. It holds a good serving of food without threatening to overflow. It also looks very clean and streamlined, unlike my previous pottery-style bowls which tended to look very clunky and silly.

The functionality of the non-skid on the bottom is just a delight. I put it down on the linoleum and was very gratified to hear and feel it thump straight down without sliding at all. The cat ate voraciously out of it last night and it didn't move an inch.

A great bowl at a great price. Highly recommended.

*important note: If you have linoleum, put down a mat under this bowl as it will dye the floor beneath it yellow over time.

Loved the bowls! Easy to clean. Can remove stainless steel bowl out from rest of bowl. Heavy enough to stay put, not pushed around by my Boston.

My little puppy uses these dishes for his food and water. I love that they have a grip on the bottom so that they don't move around. My cat also likes his water bowl. They share it all the time.

OK, pet bowls might not be sexy but this one rocks. It's go a rubber base so it doesn't slide around and the base is solid feeling. The stainless steel dish comes out easily for filling or cleaning. It's all simple, clean and well designed. I bought the blue one for water and the black for food. Very clever! The medium size bowl is perfect for our cocker spaniel (23 lbs) but I'd go bigger for anything larger. The small bowls could be good for cats.

The thin insert probably will eventually have dings, but the melamine holder is strong and solid and fairly heavy and makes up for the stainless. I would buy them again if needed, may buy another set for a spare while washing this set.

I bought two of these bowls in black for my cat. They are very sturdy and the small size is perfect for smaller pets (up to 15 pounds would likely be a good estimate). The rubber rim on the bottom keeps them from sliding around and both the rim and shape keep it from being knocked over. The metal bowl can be removed and is very easy to clean. The design has a very simple and modern look. All in all these bowls are attractive, easy to clean, and are very good quality.

I've ordered two bowls, one pink pots, another one just plain black. They are the perfect size for my small female Shiatsu for either food and water. These bowls come with removable stainless insert, makes them easy to clean or to refill food.

Last but not least, they are absolutely delight to look at; Very presentable anywhere in the house ^^

My dog loves her food dish! Not only is it a source of yummy meals, but she also likes to carry it around the house and chew it to pieces. Despite my best efforts to prevent her from doing so, she destroyed her previous bowl in less than two weeks.

Therefore, I was in need of something a little sturdier. A search on Amazon led me to this product, which I hoped might be just what I was looking for.

I brought this bowl because I wanted my dog to have a bowl with a non-slip base, but also wanted something that she wouldn't be likely to destroy. This bowl was advertised as having "feet" grips, rather than an actual base, so I thought it might be just what I wanted.

The product actually is not completely as I expected it to be. It does have a non-grip base, as well as small "feet". However, in the 6+ weeks that I have been feeding my dog her food in this bowl, she has not once bothered to destroy it. The bowl is just not easy for her to pick up, and though there is a non-grip base, she hasn't been able to get her teeth into it yet.

So, I am happy. The bowl looks well made, cleans easily and I like how it comes with a bowl that fits inside an outer bowl. When the bowl needs to be washed, you can easily remove the inner bowl and wash that. The inner bowl also makes a great travel bowl.

The weight seems sturdy, and my little dog has not been able to move it around the floor. It is a comfortable shape for her to eat from and she seems to like it. She does not like that she cannot carry it away and chew it, but I certainly am pleased about that!

They are just the right size for small to medium sized dogs. The rubber rim on the bottom of the bowl helps prevent it from slipping. The stainless bowl can be removed and placed in the dishwasher for cleaning. That feature alone is priceless.
