I like this container a lot. The 20lb kibble keeper holds the contents of my cat's 20lb food bag, plus a little more. The lid is easy to use and snaps on, which is nice since my cat likes to try to get into the extra food. It looks nice in the room. It is tall instead of round, so it doesn't seem to take up as much space as other containers.

We use this to store our dog's food. A 10-lb bag of dog food fills this to the top. The picture gives the feeling that there is a smaller door on top, but there is not. The entire gray top piece is hinged at the back and swings open with a latch in the front. The container isn't completely air-tight, but it does the job. Works great for us.

I used one of these for cat food storage for about 2 years. Once you get them closed they are great, nothing is getting into these things. However my husband and I always had difficulty getting it to properly snap closed. We now use it to store some random supplies in the garage.

We were won over by the fact that this container keeps a firm seal after repeated uses. Living in the South we are prone to all sorts of creepy crawly creatures, all of whom would love to nibble at our pets' food. We have had one of these for about a year and a half and recently purchased a 2nd one to accommodate the now large size bag of food we purchase, which saves us $10 a month in pet food costs.

The streamlined shape allows for it to be kept almost anywhere ...... we have both in our pantry and they fit beautifully. you will not be disappointed with this product !!!

I wanted something to keep my cat's food in & I didn't want to spend a fortune on a food container. I thought this was going to be just what I was looking for--based on other reviews & the product description. However, I can honestly say that this product isn't worth the $15.85 I paid for it! The description says it has a snap-close lid--WRONG! The lid doesn't close completely, never mind snap shut. When I looked at it I could see it was because the container curves down gradually towards the opening & the lid doesn't. leaving a small opening in the front & a bit on the sides. When you lift the lid, it doesn't stay hinged either--very frustrating! The only reason I gave this product 2 stars is because the quality of the container itself is good--however, it's most definitely NOT see-through! Unless you hold it up to a light source, there's no way you can tell the level of the food inside. I was able to solve the problem with the lid--I just put packing tape on the front end to hold it closed; still not completely air-tight but better than before. This will do until I can find something better in the future. To me, this product is a waste of money, don't bother.

Overall the product is okay but the lid does not easily close. You have to push really hard to get it to stay and it usually pops back open anyway!!

I got this thinking it would be great for my cat food. First off, i thought it would be much smaller, because of the reviews people said they could keep it in their cabinet, but my cabinets are not THAT big lol, its huge. when i got it the lid was not attacked so i snapped it on and couldnt figure out how to open it, finally i saw that the little piece of plastic that you use to open it was broken off, no wonder i couldn't open it. then i tried to close it, and I can't for the life of me close the thing. This is the worst item i have EVER gotten from amazon. I already printed out the return label and im going to send it back ASAP! Dont even bother with this thing. And no it doesnt come with a scoop like others said.

Difficult to open the lid with one hand. Can be done but not as easily as with some other containers.

I bought this container wanting to replace the bag the dog food came in. It's sits perfectly on the floor and is high enough where you don't need to kneel down to grab the food. I does seal perfectly to preserve the food. Great product and value!
