I (like a lot of other parents) purchased Zhu-zhu pets for my son at Christmas. They are cute and make cute noises and are funny to watch... for about 5 minutes. All they do is run around in the fun house making these little noises, colliding with each other, and knocking each other over. When this happens you then have to set them back up so that they may continue to do the above. Like I said, fun for about 5 minutes. Even my son (who is 3) got bored with them very quickly and hasn't touched them except to take apart the fun houses and throw the pieces around. The one plus I can see is that even with a rough 3-year-old pulling it apart, the pieces have not broken and can be put back together without much effort. However, out of all my Christmas purchases, this was one of the most useless and wasteful.
