From the Manufacturer

More than three little words, Petunia Pickle Bottom is a lifestyle—a different way of looking at the world. And perhaps nowhere else is that difference more distinct, unique or decidedly fashionable than in the Petunia products themselves. A perennial exhibit of bold lines, daring colors and darling designer details, Petunia Pickle Bottom was created for the steadfast sophisticate inside every woman. Silk brocades, hand-woven tweeds, plush chenilles, intricately cut velvets and exquisitely detailed embroidery—every one a Petunia hallmark, and every one an expression of motherhood’s myriad facets. It is indeed a "collectable" collection of chic baby accessories that are meticulously designed for the uncompromising quality busy moms deserve.

Customer Reviews

It is very functional with many organized pockets on the inside.

It's also very easy to clean and I love the backpack style that can easily convert to a shoulder style or be clipped to the stroller.

The bag is well constructed and the hardware does not feel cheap.

I love the pattern. I love that you just wipe it clean. I love the fold out changing station, that is so darn handy. I love the pattern. The size is great for a large diaper bag. What I absolutely hate are the straps! For nearly $200 you should have very comfortable straps. The shoulder strap has no padding and what is worse the backpack straps are nearly useless they are very un-ergonomic and uncomfortable. The bag keeps slipping off my shoulders and ends up hurting my back. I end up using a 15 year old Jansport backpack when I am not taking my stroller but need more than a clutch style diaper bag will hold. I usually leave this in the back of my Mazda 5 so I can fold down a seat and have a handy changing station.

I have owned several different diaper bags. I was especially attracted to the front changing system on this diaper bag. The inside is VERY tight and small to me. You can only fit three size 3 diapers in the front pocket, and I like to put atleast 6 or 7 diapers in my bag. Not worth the money in my opinion.

This is a great bag! I bought one in a different print, but the style is the same.

Positive: I really like the organization and that the bag converts between backpack/shoulder/messenger bag. The bag is very roomy and has plenty of space for all the items needed to take baby out for the day. The changing pad compartment is separate from the rest of the bag, which is nice to keep bathroom items separate from "clean" items. There is a removable, washable zipper pocket in the bag for dirty linens. The bag is well constructed and the hardware does not feel cheap. This is something that is made to last through multiple children!

Negative: The changing pad has a fabric surface. It's not wipe-able, you have to wash it separately. I did end up removing the pad and buying a separate, wipe-able pad which works very nice. The straps aren't padded. This hasn't been a problem for me, but might be for some people. The top flap stays closed with velcro, but does stick out if the bag is stuffed with items. In that case, I usually tuck it into the changing pad compartment so it doesn't look so funny.

If you don't like the velcro closure, there is a separate magnetic closure that you can buy called "Hush". I did get this for my bag and it works quite well.

I don't normally review these things, but this bag seems worth the $120 that I spent on it. Even with its cons, I would still give the bag a 5 star rating. Taking a baby out for the day can be a hassle, so I was willing to spend some extra money on a system that will last for a couple of years and will make things easier. It can be hard to make a decision when you can't hold the item in your hands, so I hope this review helps!

I love this bag and I always get some many compliments on it. I realized how great this bag was when I flew by myself with a 4 month old, perfect!

This bag looks so good in the blue Idyllic Ibiza! It's durable and I love how it can be worn multiple ways (backpack, side-carry, cross body). The hardware is very sturdy, not cheap in the least. If you want a bag that is pretty, holds up well and holds everything you need in the process then this is the diaper bag for you!

I bought this bag well over a year ago when I found out I was expecting baby #2, and the first one had only just turned 1. This bag has been a lifesaver since I can use it as a backpack. I need both my hands free to corral both little ones! I've been able to fit everything I need for both of my girls in it just fine (you really learn to prioritize what needs to be brought when you have two to pack for and the desire to only bring one bag). The changing pad leaves much to be desired though. I could only use it for a few months with my younger child, after that, it was just too small. I use the much larger and wipeable changing pad from my previous diaper bag now. Another reviewer stated that he or she had to get a new bag because it is not machine washable: while the instructions state that you cannot wash it, I washed mine on my machine's delicate cycle and hung it up to dry, and it turned out just fine (my husband left a peach in ours that rotted before I discovered it, so I figured I had nothing to lose by washing it since it would be unusable in that state).

I love the colors and the built in changing station has been a life saver when we're on the road. Overall, this is a high quality bag that is worth the money.
