I bought this game for my 11 year old the game is great,it has lots of mini games,and the story line is very cute and fun,I end up taking it to play every time she goes to school and I'm 40.It's alot better then most of the Pet games I own .In fact I think its better then all of them and I own Dogs,Cats,Horses 1 and 2,Hamsters,Puppy Luv,Pet Resort,Dogs and Cats,Pet Vet, Pet Vet Healing Touch,Zoo Hospital.
I don't know what makes this game so much better but it sure does get addicting,I was going to send it back but after trying it I decided to keep it.Buy This one You won't be sorry.

My 7-year old daughter plays this game on a regular basis. After the usual start-up procedure of guiding her through the game, I'm happy to report that my daughter can turn on her DS and play this game without assistance. Although the game involves some reading, it's appropriate for her reading level and she doesn't seem to struggle at all.

The game has good graphics, and good sound. The music is quite entertaining. While my daughter plays, I have found myself humming along with the soundtrack -- it is quite catchy.

There are many mini-games within the game, so it's hard to get bored. You're free to explore tricks, training, and mini-games in any order you like, with the goal of increasing your pet's intelligence and affection. With patience, my daughter has steadily increased her pet's stats. The main component of this game is the weekly fashion show, in which you dress your pet and demonstrate its talents in the hope of winning 1st place.

The controls are easy -- I personally think the mini-games are quite fun. At 7, my daughter has been able to master many of the mini-games, and this game does not result in any frustration or outbursts. It's easy enough for anybody to pick-up and play.

I bought this game for my daughter who will be 7 next month. She just got the Nintendo DS for Christmas. She hasn't put the game down. There is a little bit of reading to start so I needed to help her a little, but if the child wants to skip through it they could figure out what to do on their own. It is cute and you are able to buy more outfits and accessories for you pets the more you play. Perfect for a young gamer or anyone who loves animals and dress up!

I purchased this game for my 6 yr old daughter when she wouldn't stop asking for it. I didn't want to spend the 30 dollars because I thought the game wouldn't be any fun I am new the the whole Petz world. But boy was I wrong it keeps her well entertained and I find myself playing it when shes asleep. I would defiantly buy this game if you daughter is asking for it like mine or as a special surprise to her.

I think this game is awesome!Some breeds you can choose from are chihuahuas, mini dachshunds, shiba inus, yellow labs, Boston terriers, and a lot more. The puppies are not as realistic as the nintendogs, but that doesn't stop it from being awesome!
You get to do fun mini games that you earn by entering in beauty contests ever Saturday on your DS. Those are when you get to dress up your dog and show tricks it can do. If you want to win, here are a few tips.
1. Do a little bit of tricks and training everyday for your dog. You never know what they are going to ask you to do!
2. Dress your dog in close with just one coloring. For an example; If you want to win, you could dress your dog in a green hat, a green pair of shoes, a green t-shirt, and green pants. Whatever you dress your dog in, make sure it is color matching.

Other things you can do is go shopping. When you win beauty contests, it opens new places you can shop at. There is also your friends houses. You can visit their house.
This game is awesome, and I highly recommend it!

I was 8 years old when I got this game,
It was very fun at first but then my sister got nintendogs,
so this game got boring and now I am 9 years old and I never
play it any more, so I recommend nintendogs if any thing.( :|

She plays it all the time and it's one of her most favorite games. She loves teaching the dogs new tricks! GREAT game!

my daughter had asked for this for a while. she loves playing it & dressing up the different dogs. it took her a little while to understand it all, but she has the hang of it & really likes it, so far!

Got this for my daughter's 8th birthday. She loves it. Plays it more than any other game. It's more than just fashion. She takes her dog for walks and plays games like ping pong with her petz.

This game is awesome! I love it so much! First you choose your puppy. Then you name it. You can keep up to three puppies. You feed them, play mini games, enter them in beauty contests, and much more! If you are thinking of buying this game, buy it. Every penny is worth it!
