I enjoyed this game overall, but parts are very repetitive. You have to go back and forth to different areas of the island to complete different steps of the animal rescue.

In each "zone" there is a load time, which gets old at 5-7 seconds each time. I don't know if I am just impatient (I am), or if it was actually a long load time.

There are mini games in each step in order to earn points which you can buy various machines and seeds to make the game go forward. The mini games get a bit old and I felt like I was abusing my screen on some of them (moving the stylus back and forth quickly to clean up an oil spill).

Also, the game is very short. I think it was 6 or 7 hours in my case.

I love the music. Weeks after I finished the game I still find myself humming the main tune.

Overall a fun game. There's not much to do after you beat the game but my 2 year old daughter likes walking around in the different zones and petting the animals that I've saved. They make hearts go in the air when you pet them and she thinks that's pretty cool. :)

My daughter got this game for Christmas (she is 7). She played it for 5 minutes and told me I could have it. There is a lot of reading involved in this game. The basic storyline is.....there is an island that has been polluted and it is your job to go to the different areas on the island and clean it up....AND to rescue and rehabilitate the contaminated animals on the island. My 2 complaints about this game have already been addressed in the above comments..... 1. I felt like I was scratching up my screen trying to clean up the oil spills. 2. It is SOOOOO annoying having to run back and forth from the command center to the different parts of the island (OVER and OVER again)....made even MORE annoying by the delay in screen time as you cross different areas on the island. Overall....I think it is a nice little game to get the message of conservation across. I would think that this game would be appropriate for 3rd grade and up. As for length....I finished it in 3 days.

Well I got the game, popped it into my nintendo ds and wow it was spectacular! This is a great game for Earth Day! It is all about recycling! It is a great adventure for all ages! Also, if you like exotic animals this is toatally the game for you! It is the bet game ever!!

My daughter loved this game but she had it completed by the end of Christmas Day. We double checked to make sure there weren't more "levels" or anything else she could do and she said no. But she really enjoyed it while she played it!

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for a very discriminating young girl of 9 years. After careful consideration, and no complaints, she has decided that she likes the game and, since it keeps her busy for sustained periods of time, I have to give it a two thumbs up review!! Trust me, if there was anything about it the she was not fond of, it would've been immediately brought to my attention. Therefore, a special trip to the video store would have been required. But, alas, there was no need for anything like this. I received no complaints and everything remains right with the world!!!:)

If you like animals and you want to kill pollution, Petz Endangered Paradise is a game for you! You will get to meet characters like Lila and Leo. Lila and Leo have known each other since they were babies! When you choose a character (Lila or Leo) a short paragraph will appear with your characters picture on top. That will tell you more about your character. When you get to the Earth Rescue Team Center, you will meet Rose , Kyle, Gus and Sebastian. Rose is the head of the Earth Rescue Team. She tells you who to see and who to talk to. Kyle is shy, but amazing with plants! He could be a botanist if he wanted! He gives you some seeds that you need to rescue the animals. Gus is an expert scientist who can help you by making the vacumator-800,bait for the animals and so much more! Sebastian is the village's advisor. He will even give you advice if you click on him (using your stylus).In the village you will meet people like Claire , Arthur , Ellipse , Grandpa , Axel , Jim and Liz. Claire lives right by the forest. Arthur lives close to her and wrights poems. Arthur wrote a poem called " I Love Her like Clarity". The poem is written about Claire. He LOVES Claire! Ellipse is REALLY odd. She is a sweet old woman who you will find living by the beach. Grandpa is very nice. He owns a horse. There isn't much to tell about Axel. He doesn't talk much, but he's friendly Jim is kind of nice kind of mean. He really only cares about caving .Liz is the leader of the island. She is friendly, but sometimes, VERY needy. In the village, there are three animals. Their names are Wiped Out(dog), Sleepy((horse) and you will have to find out what the cats name is because I am keeping it a surprise! You will rescue animals such as the Asian Golden Cat, Eastern Grey Kangaroo, the Giant Panda and so many more. You get to unlock passage ways to different parts of the atlas. Note: I recommend this game to kids ages 5+. You need a DS to play it. {Sydney, age 13}

...could be longer and a bit more polished/thought out/less amateurish, but it'll do. Definitely for younger kids, middle school age and younger, who have a strong interest in science--especially ecology, conservation, green initiatives, and animals.

I'm 9, and this game is really fun! You can take care of animals like lions, asian golden cats, and zebras ,and more! The cats are cute, and the pandas are just so fluffy!! It all starts when you get to choose between two people-Leo or Lilla. They live on the island and there is an oil spill which affects the island they live in, the animals are sick, polluted water and oil spills everywhere. You have to save the island by taking care of the animals and cleaning up oil spills, ect. You also get to meet people and help them and get something nice in return. I like caring for the animals and exploring. It's a fun game! And very cheap, $9.99, but it's totally worth it if you know how to read. Go for it:D
