It is kind of a weird shape, it's a bit longer than normal and about the same width at the top as the bottom is. The ball lock is great --a little unneeded but pretty stylish. It holds 28 KN-- which is about 6,300 lbs. It's aluminum and light.

Ok, I admit I didn't use it for what it was made for. But it is amazing for what it is. It is rather large you will most likely be able to fit it around the palm of your hand but the locking feature is great! You can operate it one handed easily.
