Unless you need a light that can be seen from outer space, this here headlamp is a great choice. I have a gigantic noggin(7 3/4") and it still adjust plenty big enough to be comfortable. I use it mainly for running, and it gets the job done. PETZL is a great, reliable brand, and the electric blue is stylin'. 20 bucks well spent.

This Petzl Tikkina 2 headlamp is not as bright as the more expensive models, but is excellent for kids and general camping/household use. If you are looking for a headlamp for caving or biking, this may not be the one for you, but this one is an incredible value and works as advertised. I am very impressed with the quality of each of the components of this headlamp as well as its design, operation, and fit and finish. The economy setting is perfect for reading, the battery compartment is easy to access but appears watertight, and the lamp's on/off switch is far superior to the sliding switches found on lesser models. The only improvement I could suggest is an auto-off feature to preserve the batteries from the forgetfulness of my 4 year-old. Highly recommended!

I like this headlamp. The high beam is high and the low beam is enough for most things. The hinge works well to raise or lower the beam, and the strap is comfortable and stable. For the price it's tough to beat.

I am not a hiker or a camper anymore. You would think that these headlamps are geared only for those who work and play in the great outdoors ... but I approached buying one of these lights with an entirely different purpose in mind.

I have been looking for a good, hands-free booklight for almost two years. Most of them have bulky battery packs or cords connected to AC adapters that I have to work around. It's also cumbersome to connect or clip them to pages. So, what is the answer?? This little Petzl E91 Tikkina 2. We were watching an episode of King of the Hill: The Boy Ain't Right (King of the Hill) and Peggy Hill was using a headlamp to read. That's where we got the idea! The thing is, I needed to find one that was not exorbitantly expensive, conserved battery life and was not so high powered that it would just be overkill. THIS WAS IT.

Since I received it, it's been a great choice as my reading light. It is also great when working on the inside of my computers (adding RAM, etc).

The lamp itself takes 3 AAA batteries (and the first set is included). There are two modes of operation (economy and full). I find that the economy is perfect for reading at night. The lamp is adjustable, meaning you can adjust the angle of the beam ... this is extremely helpful. The headband is wide and comfortable and highly adjustable. I have a large head 7 1/2+ and there is no problem.

I purchased these on sale from Amazon to use fumbling with computer wires under my desk. They fit the bill perfectly. Additionally, and this turned out to be even better, I started using them while walking my dog at night. I had previously carried a lantern. These goggles--even at low level--provide more than enough light.
I bought three more sets and gave them to neighbors as gifts. We get blackouts around here and they are great for that, too.

I purchased this headlamp primarily for use in repairing computers and to that end it has worked well. With two light settings, a directionally adjustable lamp and a comfortable headband, the Petzl E91 PE Tikkina 2 has proven to be well worth the $20 I paid for it.

For the price, one of the best values around. This has gotten me through the darkest treks out of the wodds after an evening hunt. Also, worked well in tracking a wounded animal at dusk. Lite & brite!!!

I researched several types/brands of headlamps and decided to purchase the Petzl E91 PF Tikkina 2. The low beam is very sufficient for my dark early morning runs. Great price!

headlamps are awesome, I use mine around the house all the time. This 2 LED model is all I need, can't wait to take it next time we go camping. I was afraid the blue looked a little too blueberry, but its darker than the picture makes it look.

I bought the headlamp for night-time running and it works great! The lamp is very solid and locks into the tilt position so it doesn't bounce up and down on my forehead when you are running. The light is bright enough to see where I'm going. The strap is thick and soft and secure on my head. The lamp seems heavy at first but it's easy to get used to. Definitely a must-buy if you're going to be outside in dim or no-light conditions.
